Courses rses

Our club helps maintain 5 courses in the immediate area. Peninsula Park, Altmaier Family Park (The Farm), Sugar Bottom, Turkey Creek, and Wetherby.
Peninsula Park Red and blue tees for each hole. Baskets are moved between A and B positions seasonally. Front 9 is mostly in the woods, back 9 is more open and by the river. No significant hills. Great signage and well-beaten paths make navigation easy. Keep an eye out for poison ivy and nettles.

Altmaier Family Park (The Farm) Excellent course with a variety of long/short pins, open/wooded holes, up hill/ down hill shots. A nice stream that comes into play on holes 4, 5,6 and possibly 3 for errant drives. Very well maintained!! A MUST play. No water on site.
Sugar Bottom Recreational Area Great course with a little elevation, some wooded and some open holes. This course will challenge you to throw every disc in the bag.
Turkey Creek This is a short 9 hole course that offers up it's own unique set of challenges. Layouts range in size from 150 to 300+ feet, fairways both narrow and wide, with various different obstacles on each hole. There are multiple holes where the road or parking lot come in to play so please be aware and courteous.
Wetherby Park An open park course located on the south side of Iowa City, these 9 holes provide a lot of oppurtunities to work on short distance drives and up shots. Easy to navigate and cart friendly, it is a great warm up or cool down session to work on fundamentals. Good for beginniers.
